+Tools

PlusTools is a Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tool for professional translators.
It's in the last stages of beta, already used in production.

Current version: 0.8.6.9 dated April 17, 2025.

What's new?

• Mac/Linux support: you can now choose your font⁽¹⁾.
• The CAT tool now has an optional "automatic tag transfer" from source to target. It should place tags correctly in most cases, after you finish the pure-text translation.
• Search-replace now operational on the CAT tool.
• The Aligner is back.
• Expanding/shrinking segments (with the +- icon) while translation is back.

Do you need no installer (or are on Wine, Mac or Linux), and are not afraid of security warnings?

⁽¹⁾Note that the fonts are those available in wine. Good news: Unicode fonts are not mandatory anymore. To add fonts, copy them to the wine /fonts directory. On a Mac, Ctrl+Click the "wine" application, then "Open package". On Linux, in sudo mode, look around usr/share/wine/fonts.
