TransCheck in WFP

TransCheck is the name of the translation Quality Assurance feature in Wordfast Pro.

There are two levels of TransCheck: 1) file-based process, and 2) batch process.

TXML Editor TransCheck

You can run TransCheck on the file you are currently translating. You need first to activate it and to set the desired options. Go to Edit menu > Preferences > TransCheck > select the options you need to check, and click Apply and OK. Now, you can use the TransCheck feature by clicking the toolbar button TransCheck.

PM Perspective TransCheck

PM Perspective > TransCheck includes the most important options of the traditional TransCheck feature. Moreover, the PM Perspective > TransCheck feature allows batch processing of multiple files. Select the folder that includes the TXML files, and click “Check”. The process generates a report including the errors and warnings in the files.
