Wordfast Classic (WFC) is a Microsoft Word add-in (i.e. macro-based plugin) and needs to be installed as such into MS Word. Before you install WFC, you need to adjust a few MS Word settings.
Choose the instructions for your MS Word version:
- Installing WFC in Word 2000, XP or 2003 for Windows[1]
- Installing WFC in Word 2007 for Windows
- Installing WFC in Word 2010 for Windows
- Installing WFC in Word 2013 for Windows
- Installing WFC in Word 2011 for Macs
Wordfast Classic cannot be installed into MS Word 2008 for Macs or Word 2016 for Macs because these Word:Mac versions do not support Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
