Wordfast Pro license files are very small files (~ 1 kB) that contain encrypted information about your Wordfast Pro license. A correctly generated license file is required to license a Wordfast Pro installation.
The standard name of a Wordfast Pro license file is made of the 8-digit install number for which it was generated and the .lic file extension, for example 12345678.lic.
There is no human-readable information in a Wordfast Pro license file and most systems cannot open it by double-clicking. To generate and use your license file properly, make sure you follow the instructions how to license your Wordfast Pro installation.
