Local, cooperative training

Any Wordfast licensed user who feels he/she can provide basic/intermediate-level training to beginners can become a trainer. All it takes is to join the list of existing trainers, by setting your trainer profile after logging in (in the event strong discontent made known by trainees, trainers can be removed from the list without prior warning and explanation).

Translators asking for training (trainees) should note that trainers do not normally provide hot-line or support, but training sessions. Such professional training is not free. The fee is entirely at the trainer's discretion and should be openly discussed and agreed upon beforehand. Wordfast does not interfere in the training in any way, does not take any percentage or any supplementary fee. Training is simply provided by voluntary trainers at the local level for a pre-agreed fee, in exchange for individual or group trainig sessions.

Note Trainees who have paid for and received a training session of at least one full day are eligible to a 33% discount on a Wordfast license they buy for themselves. The trainer should simply inform the Wordfast sales team, quote the trainee's email address and confirm that she/he has received a one-day paid training session, with the amount paid for training. Free training sessions, or training sessions of less than one day do not give right to the discount. All information is kept strictly confidential.

The details to be mutually agreed upon prior to any sessions are:

Location	Where the training sessions should take place.
Contents	Overview of what the trainees expect to learn.
Fee	Should meet local legal requirements for paid services.
Timing	Date, time, and duration.
People	In case of group sessions: names/number of persons

How to proceed: Write to the nearest certified trainer and arrange either a first informal meeting, or a first training session.
